ফ্রীলান্সার হিসেবে আপনার উপস্থাপনাকে যেভাবে এবং যেকারনে গুরুপ্ত দিবেন:-

আপনি কি ফ্রীলান্সিং কে প্রোফেসনালি মন মেনে নিতে পারছেন?? যদি পারে থাকেন তবে..... কাজ জানেন কিন্তু নতুন হিসেবে আপনার কোন পোর্টফলিও নাই,তাই না? অন্যদের থেকে ধার করা পিএসডি অথবা স্যাম্পল নিজে ডিজাইন বা কোডিং করে বায়ারকে দেখাচ্ছেন? এটা আপাত দৃষ্টিতে খারাপ কিছু দেখছি না। তবে...

আপনি আপনার করা স্যাম্পল গুলো কিভাবে বায়ারকে দেখাচ্ছেন? ফ্রী কোন ইমেজ অথবা ফাইল শেয়ারিং সাইট থেকে? যেমন অনেকেই ড্রপবক্স থেকে হোষ্ট করে বায়ারকে বিডে স্যাম্পল হিসেবে দেখান। এখানেই প্রবলেম! :

আপনি যাকে কাজের স্যাম্পল দেখাচ্ছেন সে কিন্তু প্রোফেসনাল। বুঝা গেছে ব্যাপারটা? তাই সে এমন কাউকে হায়ার করতে চাইবে যে রেডিমেড প্রোফেসনাল। আপনার কোডিং বা ডিজাইন এক্সপার্টনেস ভাল কিন্তু উপস্থাপনটাই হল ফ্রী কিছু দিয়ে। আপনি কি মনে করে কাজ পাবেন? ৮০% গ্যারান্টি দিলাম কাজ পাবেন না বায়ারের থেকে! কারণ প্রোফেসনালিজমে “ফ্রী” এর অবস্থান “শূন্য”! আর বাকি ২০% আনএক্সপেক্টেড! ;)

তাই,লাইভ প্রোজেক্ট দেখাতে না পারলেও অন্তত নিজের একটা পোর্টফলিও সাইট পেইড ডোমেইন দিয়ে করে ফেলুন। ডিজাইন রাখুন সিম্পল এবং সেখানে আপনার যাবতীয় কাজের স্যাম্পল সাজিয়ে বায়ারকে রেফারেন্স করুন। একটি পোর্টফলিও সাইট আপনাকে আপনার ব্রান্ডিং হিসেবে সাপোর্ট দিবে সবার কাছে। হয়তো ভেবে বসবেন, আয় রোজগার না হতেই পেইড ডোমেইন + হোষ্টিং কিনতে বলছি। একবার চিন্তা করে দেখুন, যে বায়ার আপনাকে কাজ দিবে, বা আপনার যার থেকে কাজ নিবেন সে আপনার কোন বিষয়টি দেখে কাজ দিবেন? বিষয়টি হচ্ছে আপনার “উপস্থাপনা”। ভালমানের উপস্থাপনা আপনার জন্য সেই বায়ারের মনে শুরুতেই জায়গা করে নিবে। আর আপনার কাজে পাওয়ার সুযোগও বেড়ে যাবে অনেকাংশে।

তবে, ডাইরেক্ট আপনার পোর্টফলিও সাইটের লিঙ্ক যেমনঃ (www.myfakesite.com) দিয়েন না ভুলেও। সরাসরি আপনার কাজের লিঙ্ক দিন। কারণ, বায়ারের এতো সময় নাই আপনার কাজ খুঁজে,দেখে তারপর আপনাকে হায়ার করবে। বায়াররা চায় স্ট্রেইট ফরওয়ার্ড বিড।

প্রোজেক্ট সিলেক্ট করে ভাল মত প্রতিটি লাইন পড়ুন তারপর প্রথমেই Hi বা Hello বলে সম্বোধন করুন। কখনও Sir বলে সম্বোধন না করাই উত্তম। এরপর যে কাজে বিড করবেন সেটা সম্পর্কে ২/৩ লাইনে বলুন এবং সাথে সর্বোচ্চ ৩টা কাজের স্যাম্পল উল্লখে করুন। এখানে বলে রাখা ভাল, অনেক বায়ারই একটা নির্দিষ্ট সংখ্যক স্যাম্পল দেখানোর কথা বলেন দেন। তিনি যতটা চাইবেন ততটা দিন,যদি আপনার থাকে। নয়তো সর্বোচ্চ ৩টা উল্লেখ করুন। তবে কেউ বলুক আর না বলুক একগাধা স্যাম্পল শেয়ার করা কখনই উচিৎ নয়। তাই বায়ারের কাজের সাথে মিলে যায় এমন স্যাম্পল দিন এবং তারপর সময় এবং আপনার কাজে প্রাইজ দিয়ে বিড সাবমিট করুন।
