In Bangladesh, activating (Voice over LTE) through a traditional dialing code varies by operator. While some companies have dedicated USSD codes, others handle the process completely automatically or through their official apps.

The activation codes and alternative methods for all five major networks are listed below:

1. Grameenphone (GP)

Grameenphone has a dedicated manual code to toggle your profile's VoLTE capability on or off.

Activation Code: Dial *121*1133*1 #
Check VoLTE Status: Dial *121*1133*3 #

Alternative: You can also turn it on dynamically through the MyGP App under features/settings.

2. Banglalink

Banglalink automatically activates VoLTE for most eligible users, but they provide a direct manual USSD code if you need to prompt the network system.

Activation Code: Dial *121*8 #

Alternative: Automated network auto-provisioning happens when you insert your SIM into a compatible 4G handset.

3. Robi

Robi relies heavily on auto-activation at the network baseline level rather than user-facing dial codes.
Activation Code: None (There is no active manual USSD code).
Method: Log into the My Robi App to check network service statuses, or simply ensure you are in a 4G zone. The backend handles the rest.

3. Airtel Bangladesh

Since Airtel operates under Robi Axiata Limited, its system handles VoLTE similarly via app or network provisioning.

Activation Code: None.

Method: Open the My Airtel App, head to Quick Links, find the VoLTE tab, and toggle it ON.

4G service

To check if your Airtel SIM is 4G ready, dial *121*3232 #. To activate and test the 4G network and claim any available data bonuses, dial *121*44 #.

If you have an old 3G SIM, you must visit an Airtel Store to upgrade to a 4G SIM.

4. Teletalk

Teletalk (the state-owned operator) rolls out VoLTE support on a device-by-device configuration baseline rather than generic USSD triggers.

Activation Code: There is no official public USSD code to activate Teletalk VoLTE.

Method: Ensure your Teletalk 4G SIM is in Slot 1 and your device software is fully updated. If it does not auto-activate, you have to contact their customer care hotline (121) to manually provision your profile for VoLTE from the backend.

Important Prerequisite:
Dialing a code or toggling an app setting will not work unless you turn it on within your actual phone system.
Android: Go to Settings > Mobile Networks > Toggle "VoLTE Calls" ON.
iPhone: Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Voice & Data > Select "LTE, VoLTE On".
