What does a Chief Operating Officer (COO) do at Crystal Call?
Combining strategy, ex*****on and management, the COO will provide core leadership for the entire business and optimising for growth and scale, representing Crystal Call to our business partners and outsourcing & consolidating new businesses including Hiring, HR and people management.
The COO will become a true partner, ally and trusted advisor to the CEO in building Crystal Call into a global market leading business. You will share the CEO's pace, entrepreneurialism, ambition and resilience, passion for, and belief in the business.
As COO you will see yourself as a leader and enabler and relish the opportunity to create a truly world-class outsourcing call centre company.
• You will own the company roadmap and work closely with the CEO and the Leadership team to ensure Crystal Call is focusing on the highest value activities and opportunities to create competitive advantage, and that its proposition and brand are positioned appropriately.
• You will build the operational capabilities to deliver against the Crystal Call long-term growth plans and ensure crystal call hits its operating and financial KPIs.
• You will oversee the Commercial & Sales, Finance/Business Intelligence, Legal, HR & Recruitment teams and bring leadership to the whole organisation.
• You will embody and champion crystal call’s culture and be charged with internal evangelisation of crystal call’s vision, mission and values, inspiring the team to mobilise behind it.
• You will be a trusted advisor and sounding board for the CEO. You will be seen by the Board, Founder, executive leadership team and the entire crystal call organisation, as a deeply credible and trusted figure, and a key asset for the company.
What We're Looking For In a COO
You are a seasoned General Manager or COO with outstanding leadership skills, who brings a proven track record of success in senior operational roles within fast-paced consumer digital businesses, managing cross-functional teams, navigating through high-growth, building scalable systems, processes, teams and delivering against aggressive KPIs and internationalising.
• A strong operator and General Manager - you will have a proven track record in leadership roles within high-growth B2B digital businesses, with cross-functional team responsibility
• People Leadership - you will be an inspiring, engaging people leader with naturally high EQ, able to set a vision and bring people with them.
• Highly commercial and financially literate - you will be highly commercial, able to drive revenues, oversee commercial teams and devise strategic go to market plans across products/geographies.
• Highly data-/KPI-/metrics-driven and analytical with a structured problem-solving approach; with strong financial acumen and the ability to oversee a finance team and bring strong planning and analytical capability.
• Culture, Mission & Values Fit - you will demonstrate alignment with Crystal Call’s values. Charismatic, tenacious and ambitious, as well as high-integrity, rigorous, low-ego, collaborative and personable. Will be excited by and passionate about crystal call’s mission and purpose – will be multilingual and/or have a strong passion for customer service.… Minimum 3 years call centre experience is required.
