React JS is basically a JavaScript library built and maintained by Facebook. According to the creator of React JS, Jordan Walke, React is an efficient, declarative, and flexible open-source JavaScript library for building simple, fast, and scalable frontends of web applications.

Universal (server-side) rendering: It’s probably the most valuable feature to our partners. It means that we generate static markup on the server which is ready to be rendered in the browser as-is. No need to fetch critical data client-side, post rendering. This is important for both speed and SEO. Universal rendering is React’s way to make it possible to use the same code-base on both the server and client. This makes our code-base considerably simpler. JavaScript is then used everywhere!
Components: React embraces modular design. You can split your UI into simple, independent components which focus on doing one thing. This also means it’s easy for many developers to work on the same project without conflicts. Components make fixing bugs and refactoring very easy. You can just take the part of the UI that isn’t working, and either fix it or replace it.
Other great React features I won’t go into here are: Virtual DOM, One-way Data Flow (much faster than traditional DOM), JSX, React Native (which is not exactly a feature, but a bonus for mobile applications).

In almost all cases out partners what the ability to manage and edit their own content. This is where a headless CMS comes into play. We love handcrafting static sites that stay as true to the original design whenever possible. But usually, there’s content that our partners need to be able to change. A headless CMS is the best solution for this. We can define custom modules to use with our design without having to tailor the view layer to the CMS. The end result is a website without compromises and the best possible authoring tool.
