RS-485-এ Holding Resistor কী?

RS-485 Bus-এ যখন কোনো Device Data পাঠায় না, তখন Bus-এর Signal State Undefined হয়ে যেতে পারে। ফলে Electrical Noise থেকে False Data তৈরি হতে পারে।

এই সমস্যা কমাতে ব্যবহার করা হয় Holding Resistor, যাকে সাধারণত Bias Resistor বা Fail-Safe Bias Resistor বলা হয়।
সহজভাবে বললে, এটি RS-485 Bus-কে একটি Defined Idle State-এ রাখতে সাহায্য করে।

📌 একটা জিনিস মনে রাখতে হবে:
Bias Resistor → Idle State ঠিক রাখে
Termination Resistor → Signal Reflection কমায়
দুটোর কাজ এক নয়।

ইলেকট্রিক্যাল কন্ট্রোল প্যানেলের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কম্পোনেন্টগুলো সম্পর্কে জানেন?

ইলেকট্রিক্যাল কন্ট্রোল প্যানেল অনেকগুলো গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কম্পোনেন্ট দিয়ে তৈরি করা হয়। আর এসব কম্পোনেন্টের সিম্বল ও কাজ বোঝাই হলো ইলেকট্রিক্যাল ও অটোমেশন কাজের মূল ভিত্তি।

১P, ২P এবং ৩P সার্কিট ব্রেকার থেকে শুরু করে পুশ বাটন, সিলেক্টর সুইচ, কন্টাক্টর, রিলে, ওভারলোড রিলে, ইন্ডিকেটর লাইট, ইমার্জেন্সি স্টপ এবং টাইম রিলে—প্রতিটি কম্পোনেন্টেরই ইলেকট্রিক্যাল সার্কিটে নির্দিষ্ট কাজ রয়েছে।

বিশেষ করে NO (Normally Open) এবং NC (Normally Closed) কন্টাক্টের পার্থক্য জানা খুবই গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। কারণ ওয়্যারিং ডায়াগ্রাম পড়া এবং কন্ট্রোল প্যানেলের ট্রাবলশুটিং করার সময় এগুলো নিয়মিত কাজে লাগে।

মনে রাখতে হবে:
কোনো কন্ট্রোল প্যানেল ভালোভাবে বুঝতে হলে শুধু কম্পোনেন্টের নাম জানলেই হবে না, এর সিম্বল এবং কাজ সম্পর্কেও পরিষ্কার ধারণা থাকতে হবে।

সহজভাবে বললে,
Engineering Station দিয়ে System তৈরি, Configure, Program ও Maintenance করা হয়।
আর Operator Station থেকে Process Monitor, Operate ও Control করা হয়।

4–20 mA থেকে RS-485 Converter কীভাবে কাজ করে?

4–20 mA হলো Analog Signal, আর RS-485 হলো Digital Communication Interface। এই দুইয়ের মধ্যে Bridge হিসেবে কাজ করে 4–20 mA to RS-485 Converter।

🔄 Basic Process:
4–20 mA → Current Sensing → A/D Conversion → Data Processing → RS-485 → PLC/SCADA

ধরুন, একটি 0–10 bar Pressure Transmitter ব্যবহার করছেন:
🔹 4 mA → 0 bar
🔹 12 mA → 5 bar
🔹 16 mA → 7.5 bar
🔹 20 mA → 10 bar
Converter প্রথমে 4–20 mA Signal Measure করে সেটিকে Digital Value-তে Convert করে। এরপর সেই Data RS-485 দিয়ে PLC বা SCADA System-এ পাঠায়।
Converter Support করলে Modbus RTU Protocol ব্যবহার করেও Communication করা যায়।

মনে রাখতে হবে:
RS-485 হলো Physical Communication Layer, আর Modbus RTU হলো Protocol—যা RS-485-এর উপর দিয়ে চলতে পারে।

🔌 Star–Delta Starter: Power & PLC Control Concept:

একটি Star–Delta Starter সাধারণত Motor-এর Starting Current কমানোর জন্য ব্যবহার করা হয়। প্রথমে Motor Star Connection-এ Start হয়, এরপর Normal Operation-এর জন্য Delta Connection-এ চলে যায়।

🔹 KM1 → Main Contactor

🔹 KM2 → Star Contactor

🔹 KM3 → Delta Contactor

🔹 Timer → Star থেকে Delta Transition Control করে

🔹 Electrical + Mechanical Interlocking → Star এবং Delta Contactor একসাথে ON হওয়া Prevent করে।

সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়:
KM2 (Star) এবং KM3 (Delta) কখনোই একই সময়ে Energize করা যাবে না।
সঠিক Interlocking নিশ্চিত করাই এখানে সবচেয়ে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ।
