Most companies think better UI means adding more animations.

It doesn’t.

Great product design usually comes down to removing things, not adding them.

Here are 3 things that actually improve user experience (but most teams ignore):

Clarity > Creativity:
Designers love creativity.
Users love clarity.

These are not always the same thing.

If users need to "figure out" your interface, you've already lost momentum.

The best UX feels obvious.
Not impressive.

Speed creates trust:
Nobody says:
"Wow this loading screen animation is incredible."

They just want the product to work fast.

Every extra second creates friction.
Every delay lowers engagement.

Performance is part of the design experience now.

Consistency reduces decision fatigue:
When buttons, spacing, typography, and interactions constantly change, users feel friction without realizing why.

Consistency creates familiarity.
Familiarity creates comfort.
Comfort increases retention.

Simple.

Most products don't lose users because the idea is bad.
