We’re excited to introduce EasyDraw 5.

Now, drawing no longer needs to happen outside FileMaker.

With EasyDraw 5, you can draw and annotate right inside your FileMaker layouts: no need to export, switch apps, or keep track of extra files.

Here’s what’s new in this release:

A new polygon tool lets you create precise technical layouts.
The colour picker is now enhanced for easier selection.
Stroke scaling (in beta) means your annotations will scale accurately with your drawings.

PDF support lets you annotate directly on a PDF page.

A fantastic few days in Vienna for the Calling Conference!

A few of our colleagues had the opportunity to attend and share their knowledge at Vienna Calling 2026. It was an inspiring event filled with valuable conversations, fresh ideas, and exciting insights into the future of Claris FileMaker and AI.

One of the highlights was finally meeting our colleague Martin in person for the very first time after working together remotely. It's always special when online collaborations become real-world connections.

Between the learning sessions, presentations, and exploring beautiful Vienna, there was plenty of fun along the way.

We're returning home energized, inspired, and excited about what's next for the Claris community and the growing role of AI in our solutions.
