Women in Digital has a new home 💥

And we’re kicking off this next chapter by getting our hands dirty.

Vibe Coding & Cocktails 🍸💻

Nine women. No coding background between them. One evening at Movify.
They left with published, working products. Proof that the gap between thinking it and building it has gotten remarkably small 🚀

This was Vibe Coding & Cocktails 🍸, the first in a series we’re running under Women in Digital. Teach the fundamentals, then get out of the way and let people build.

🔦 Here’s what they built:

✨ A shared scheduling app for swapping garden tools with a neighbour
✨ A storefront for a children’s clothing label
✨ A digital gallery for a father’s artwork
✨ A reading companion connecting bookshelves to local bookshops and libraries

✨ A working library of UX components
✨ A job tracker, built while job hunting

Nine ideas. Zero coding experience needed.

None of these women write software professionally. We’d argue that’s exactly why this worked. The best ideas come from people closest to the problem, not from whoever happens to know how to code.

Last week we hosted the Vibe Coding Workshop here at Movify with dotika.ai and it was everything we hoped it would be — and then some.

Alexandre and François brought the knowledge, the patience, and the kind of energy that makes a room come alive. Every question answered, every idea taken seriously. That’s rare.

Everyone left with a real project they actually built. And we celebrated the right way — final presentations, then summer drinks outside in the sun. 🍻

Hackathon 2026 💥

This weekend, we built something pretty remarkable in just 24 hours 💻
From real problems in our day-to-day work → to products that actually run.

We arrived to sun, greenery 🌿 and that moment where you take a deep breath… knowing what’s coming next.

An old country house near Lac de l’Eau d’Heure, apéro in hand, team gathered — then straight into it.

5 teams. Mixed profiles. 24 hours.

A lot of pushing, challenging ideas, adjusting fast. Healthy competition, but always with the same goal: build something real.

With the support of Lovable, ideas turned into working products faster than expected.
And alongside it all — the part that matters just as much 💛

Cooking together, sharing stories, BBQ by Seb, long dinners, Phil’s birthday, music going from hard techno to old French classics.

Ending the night making marshmallow sandwiches on the fire, under an umbrella, listening to Workls. No one rushing off, just putting the world to rights together.

Big congrats to Sebastiaan & Arnaud Ostrowski for the win with Azimuth 🏆
