⚠️ Public Service Announcement: Consumer Awareness in PC Sales ⚠️

We want to take a moment to raise awareness about a recent situation involving a family who was unfortunately misled when purchasing what was advertised as a “gaming PC.”

The system was sold with the expectation of strong gaming performance, including specifications such as an AMD platform, 64GB of RAM, and a capable graphics card. However, the system delivered fell significantly short of those claims.

Upon inspection, the actual configuration included:

An 8th Generation Intel i5 processor (a reasonable CPU, but not what was advertised)

32GB of RAM instead of the promised 64GB

A 256GB SSD paired with a secondary 720GB storage drive, rather than a true 1TB primary drive

A GT 710 2GB graphics card, which is not suitable for gaming and struggles with even very light titles

This system was purchased as a Christmas gift for a child, with the understanding that it would support gaming. Unfortunately, it does not meet even basic gaming requirements.

The clients attempted to resolve the issue with the original vendor but were unable to reach a satisfactory outcome.

We have since taken in the system and will be repurposing it into a reliable office PC. In addition, we will be working with the family to build a properly configured gaming system—one that delivers the performance and longevity they were originally promised.

This situation serves as an important reminder:

Consumers should feel confident asking questions and verifying specifications before purchasing

Transparency and honesty are essential in any customer-focused business

It is our responsibility as professionals to educate and guide—not mislead

We strongly believe there is no place in this industry for practices that take advantage of individuals who may not have technical expertise.

Hey everyone,

It’s been a while since I’ve posted any system builds lately. That’s largely due to the inflated markup on some of the parts going on right now.

This system is really unique, however. I’ve built (I believe) four systems for this client over the years, and each one has been a step—or two—above the last. For this build, my client has been saving his quarters for at least a year, carefully going over every component with a fine-tooth comb. My goal was to make sure he got exactly what he needed… and then bring it to life.

This system is no slouch—it’s packed with some seriously insane parts:

- CPU: Ryzen 9950X3D – 16 cores / 32 threads
- Cooler: Arctic Liquid Freezer III Pro 420 A-RGB
- RAM: 64GB Kingston DDR5 6000
- Motherboard: ASUS X870E-E
- PSU: ASUS ROG THOR 1200W
- Case: Phanteks NV7 (absolute monster case)
- Cooling: +7 Arctic A-RGB fans (including reverse fans)
- GPU: AMD 9070XT 16GB (with magnetic levitation fans)
- Storage:
- Samsung 990 Pro 4TB
- Samsung 990 Pro 2TB
- Samsung 960 EVO 1TB
- OS: Windows 11 Pro

Like any good Frankenstein experiment, this build didn’t just come together overnight. It was carefully assembled piece by piece—premium parts stitched together, cables routed like veins, and power waiting to surge through it all ⚡

And when it finally powered on… it lived.

What an absolute beast of a system. I was genuinely honored to bring this creation to life—these kinds of builds don’t come around often.
