🌿 Announcing the first-ever Alexandria Trail Fest! 🌿
Presented by the Friends of Glengarry Trails Association, celebrating 27 years of caring for and connecting our community through the trails.
Explore. Connect. Celebrate.
Join us on Monday, September 7, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Alexandria Island Park for a full day of outdoor fun, community, and adventure.
And the list of activities keeps growing!
🏃 Take on the Free Radical Run — a huge inflatable obstacle course.
💦 DUNK THE MAYOR!
Step up to the Dunk Tank Challenge and take your best shot at dunking the Mayor of North Glengarry, along with participating councillors and candidates in the upcoming municipal election.
Think you’ve got the arm for it?
Balls are $2 each or 3 for $5, with all proceeds going directly to the Friends of Glengarry Trails Association to support our local trails.
⛳ Try your hand at mini-golf.
🌿 At 3:00 p.m., join Mary-Ann Hobe for a Wild Foraging Walk and discover some of the edible plants growing right here in our local area.
🚒 Meet members of the North Glengarry Fire Department.
🥾 And, of course, come discover the reason we’re all gathering in the first place: our beautiful Glengarry Trails.
Learn about the 15 km of volunteer-groomed and maintained trails that so many people have worked to build, protect, and enjoy.
And remember—however far you walk in, you still have to walk back! 😄
This is a day for families, neighbours, candidates, volunteers, trail lovers, and anyone who simply wants to come out and enjoy our community.
Bring the kids.
Bring your walking shoes.
Bring your best throwing arm.
And bring a friend you think would enjoy being the one who sends somebody into the dunk tank!
