I draw house portraits so you can always come home ❤️

I started drawing houses because I’m a very sentimental person. In 2008 my husband and I bought the sweetest little townhouse and spent five years there - five years of milestones (moving in together! Getting engaged! Adopting a dog! Getting married!), five years of renovating to make the space our own, five years of learning and growing and making fun memories. When we decided to move, I was really sad to leave the house behind.

One night after starting to settle into our new home, I found myself still missing the old one. I pulled up a photo of the front of the house and started drawing it in Illustrator. To make it extra special, I added the address in a banner and wrote “Our First Home” in the grass. I also added two little robins on the roof because one of my favourite things about our house was the robins that would nest under the top deck every spring. It’s been six years but I still remember that house so fondly and love that I can keep a little piece of it forever with my adorable portrait.

Printing options are now available for your custom portraits!

I typically send portraits digitally as high resolution pdf and jpg files so that you can print them locally on paper, canvas, stickers, mugs, tote bags - whatever you’d like! This eliminates shipping for both time and environmental reasons. BUT I know some folks would like to have their printing taken care of for convenience or so that they can directly send a gift without an extra step. This new upgrade will solve that problem and deliver a museum-quality poster on thick and durable matte paper to you.

I've chosen a great printer that has committed to improving their sustainability. They have printing facilities across the globe and will print and ship orders from the closest fulfillment centre to your portrait's destination. This allows for faster shipping, lower shipping costs, and reduces CO2 emissions.

Hey friends! I haven’t introduced myself on here for a long time (it feels so weird to do!) so I thought it was time to say hello :) I’m Jenn and I love drawing and designing colourful, fun stuff - but y’all already knew that! ⁣

Elise upcycles clothing with really fun hand embroidery - an eco-friendly and creative business idea that I absolutely love. Branding done correctly will connect with your target audience, create a sense of trust and credibility, and make your business look damn good. Having a variety of logo marks like the set you see above will make it easy to have consistent branding in any situation (eg. profile photo vs. website header) and will keep things interesting for you and your audience.
