This week our Employee Spotlight is on Damian Hugh! With 5 years of service at Alarm Systems, Damian is your guy for IP video cameras, access control and intrusion detection for small to medium size business. He’s also a fun guy to have around the office with a good sense of humour and some daily sports banter. He’s extremely proud of his beautiful family, Kate, Lucas and Gwen! Employee Spotlight on Lenora Cooper, a Level Two Customer Service Representative! Here's what Lenora has to say about working at TAS:

"I would like to tell you my journey thus far with T.A.S. Communications. I was unemployed at the time and I was getting pretty desperate with the jobs I was applying for. I was working with an employment agency who received an email about an opening with T.A.S. I felt very confident in applying for the position based upon my many years in the call center industry as I already possessed strong customer service skills, a fabulous attitude and strong work ethic. From the time I stepped through the door to the time I was hired" with the company I was made to feel welcome and was put at ease right away. In the 2 years I have been here I have definitely become an active team member and just recently was promoted to a Level 2 Customer Service Representative. I enjoy being part of the T.A.S. family and representing such a fabulous company. With continuing successes I hope to continue to be an employee for years to come and to welcome each challenge with an open mind.

On a personal note I am doting aunt of 2 adorable nieces and a nephew which I happily spoil with gifts and love. They have me wrapped around their little fingers that is for sure! I live with my ferocious snuggler of a cat Nala and my eldest niece Bee. I enjoy family time, reading and crocheting."

Requirements:

• Completion of High School
• College/Vocational/Technical training an asset
• Computer and technology knowledge
• Able to work with Windows/Advanced Windows Operations/Visual Basics/Crystal Reporting/Excel
• Working with XML an asset
• Knowledge and ability to work with SQL
• Knowledge and ability working with statistical data/KPI's
• Client Services experience an asset

• Design and scripting of client accounts
• Maintaining and updating scripts, spreadsheets, all account information
• Dealing with and maintaining client and internal requests with scripting of accounts, client changes, account & billing information, client concerns
• Research of new technology and software
• Processing data in report form
• Knowledge of Customer Service Representative position/duties
• All other duties as required

We are so happy to be able to work with Denise!

This week, our spotlight is on 15 year employee, Denise Reynolds. Denise has recently assumed a new role as our 'Director of Employee Engagement'. A few words from Denise...

"This year marks my 15 year anniversary with TAS Communications and Alarm Systems. I started here at the Bridge Street location working out of the basement, creating and documenting processes. Throughout my 15 years I have had many responsibilities and roles, but what kept me here and keeps me coming back are the wonderful group of people, our team, and our clients both locally and globally. I am very grateful and honored to be with such an amazing team of people at T.A.S., Alarm Systems and Falcon Security.

On a personal note, I am Grandma to my two adorable grandchildren, Lennox and Arly. Todd (my husband) and I enjoy working around our home, riding our Motorbike and our new little puppy Takoda."
