1. What is your role at Wi-Com Solutions, and what does a typical day look like for you?

As the Rentals Coordinator at Wi-Com Solutions, I handle everything related to our rental communication solutions—from programming and cleaning to ensuring each device is ready for customers who need them daily or monthly. My day typically involves answering calls and emails, helping clients find the best communication solutions, and making sure our rentals are in top condition to support businesses across various industries.

2. Can you share a bit about your background and experience before joining Wi-Com Solutions?

Before joining Wi-Com, I was working my way through the digital photography industry, training in Kelowna, BC. I loved capturing moments and making people smile through my camera lens. Eventually, I transitioned into audio/visual work, which gave me hands-on experience with technology before finding my place here at Wi-Com Solutions.

3. How does your background relate to the work you do at Wi-Com Solutions?

Both photography and audio/visual work taught me the importance of people-first solutions. In both fields, I interacted with clients from all walks of life, listening to their needs and helping them find the best solution. That same customer-focused mindset drives my work at Wi-Com Solutions, where I ensure that clients get the best communication tools for their needs.

4. What do you enjoy most about working at Wi-Com Solutions?

What I love most about Wi-Com is the opportunity to serve others. Whether it’s supporting local businesses in Calgary or helping clients across the country, I enjoy being part of a team that makes communication seamless and reliable.

5. What’s a fun fact about you that people may not know?

I’m a lot shorter than I sound on the phone! 😆

Lori brings extensive experience in the cellular industry, having dedicated 15 years to Rogers in customer service before advancing into retail management. She was also part of the launch team at Wind Mobile (now Shaw Mobile) and later continued her career with Best Buy before joining Wi-Com Solutions.

Initially hired to oversee Bell services, Lori’s role has expanded significantly as Wi-Com Solutions has evolved. Now, she plays a dynamic and versatile role, managing a variety of tasks to ensure smooth operations. With each day presenting new challenges, Lori thrives in Wi-Com’s fast-paced and ever-changing environment.

Lori’s favorite part of her job? Building strong relationships with customers and embracing new challenges that keep her engaged and motivated.
