What a BIG DAY it was at the QEH Foundation yesterday! 🧡

The Big Day of Giving is one of those days you will always remember. A day filled with the warm spirit of care, true support, united excitement, and the powerful feeling that together we really can make a difference in the lives of others.

When you see the happy eyes of children, parents, former and current patients, people who truly know what appreciation means, it gives you so much confidence that positive change in healthcare is possible when real contributions come from the heart.

We're proud to be part of this movement and to donate to the QEH Foundation to support high-priority medical equipment needs. This is not just about purchasing equipment for the hospital.

It is about saving lives.
It is about helping doctors and healthcare teams do their best work.
It is about retaining medical professionals here in PEI.
It is about securing the future for all of us — our children, parents, families, friends, neighbours, and everyone who may one day need care.

We were truly moved by the generosity, the remarkable patient stories, and the outstanding work of the QEH Foundation team, led by Tracey Comeau. And what an incredible result: $1,124,541 raised in just one day!!! 😍

Congratulations to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Foundation, all volunteers, donors, sponsors, patients, families, and everyone who helped make this Big Day of Giving such a powerful success.

Today was a very special day for our Art Fresh team! 💓

We are proud to share that Elena Herweyer, Founder and Chief Executive Artist of Art Fresh, has officially joined the Greater Charlottetown Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

For Elena, this is more than a new role. It is a meaningful full-circle moment.

Fifteen years ago, when she had just arrived in Canada from Ukraine and was starting her business in PEI, the Chamber was one of the first places where she felt welcomed, supported, and encouraged. That support helped open the door to early opportunities and lasting business connections.

A heartfelt thank you to Bianca McGregor, CEO of the GCACC, for this unexpected honour and invitation. Elena is excited to work alongside such a dedicated group of leaders and contribute her perspective on marketing, brand development, creativity, entrepreneurship, and community building.
