Safety first.

Motorcyclists are reminded that lane splitting (riding between lanes of traffic) is illegal in Alberta and puts everyone at risk.

Drivers aren’t expecting a motorcycle to pass between lanes, especially in slow or stopped traffic. Making sudden lane changes can be extremely dangerous and can quickly lead to serious collisions.

For everyone’s safety:
👉 Stay in your lane
👉 Ride predictably
👉 Follow the rules of the road

Let’s all do our part to keep Alberta’s roads safe this riding season.

🚧 Highway 520 Watermain & Sanitary Upgrade Project 🚧

United Utilities has been contracted by the Town of Claresholm for the construction of deep utilities in the area of Highways 2 and 520 with construction to begin on Wednesday, June 24th. This project will take approximately 2 months.
