While waiting for the river to freeze, I have taken the time to design my company logo and launch the new website. And because I did not find a name that seemed appropriately stuffy, I decided for something absurd. The name came to my mind on a cold winter morning when I anxiously pondered serious business names, and Karolina prepared a wonderful pancake breakfast. The past 2 years of intense self-directed and instructed learning in web development and graphic design now have a name, and it will decorate my future business activities. Its sensational - the sun is back! ... Sometimes you will have to "lose" something for a while to really recognize its beauty and not take it for granted. You might even find out that it was always there, but maybe not visible. The reliability of the sun and its loyalty of light is a true gift that enlightens our hearts and ignites hope even in the darkest hours.

About six weeks per year the sun does not rise over the Klondike Valley and Yukon River Mountain Range. From the beginning of December to mid of January Dawson City does not get direct sunlight. Two days ago at about 2pm the yellow balloon brought rays of sunshine back into our beautiful Sunnydale. From now on the days will continue to grow longer and soon we will dance in the midnight sun.

We are so happy that the sun is back and will power our pancake plans as well as our solar systems - which sustainably fuel our computers and printer which help us in designing and producing our products.

The picture below was taken while looking out at our front yard. It was night time in the beginning of January, with a bright moon and northern lights covering the sky (long exposure).
