The full (-10 numbers) set for 2023!

I’m not going to lie, this challenge kind of kicked my a** this year… but hey, I finished! Was my theme a bit too ambitious this year? Maybe, but I had a blast thinking outside of the box and trying something different.

This may sound crazy, but I went in and totalled up all my tracked time from all 26 letters and the grand total came out to 97.07 hours spent drawing 🤯

I promise to tone things back a bit next year, but thank you to everyone who’s stuck along and shown some love ☺️

It’s that time of year again ( )!

Although I didn’t create as much content as I did in 2021, this year my work got more colourful (if you can even believe that lol), I found my “style” (which is ever-evolving), I doubled the amount of steady client work, and in turn ended up almost tripling my income from freelance this year (woohoo!).

It hasn’t been all wins this year though; I stumbled into a creative slump for a couple months, I didn’t work on as many passion projects as I wanted to, I backed out of a cool project because I got cold feet, and got overwhelmed trying to setup my online shop so I continuously kept pushing it off.

It’s important to not only reflect on the goals you accomplished over the year but also the lessons you’ve learned along the way. My motto for 2023 is to set attainable goals that I can continuously work towards, and to be consistent.

And lastly, thank you to each and every one of YOU for always showing my work support!! I’ve made some lifelong friendships on here this past year that I’m forever grateful for ✌️

I can’t believe it’s already August! Has anyone else felt like these past couple months have just flown by?

With that being said, I’m happy to have some more time freed up to focus on new lettering work and interact with my favourite community.

Consistency can be hard for me 😅 so the mindset is quality over quantity.
