What a great show last weekend with our client, Favoured Generation, as they brought their love of worship to Rhema Chapel in Edmonton for their Bringing Our Worship event!

They needed a little extra lighting and a qualified professional lighting technician to help bring their vision to life, and our Lead Technician Stephen Borst , was there to make it happen.

Stephen did such an awesome job that he even received a personal shoutout at the end of the service! We’re pretty proud of that one.

Thank you to Favoured Generation for trusting Production Lighting Edmonton to be part of such a meaningful event. It’s always amazing to see what the right lighting, the right team, and a great vision can create together.

Need lighting support for your next event?
Give us a shout. We’d love to help bring your vision to life!

Earilier this week we were on site helping our good friends at the Metro Cinema Society get set up with their new ETC ColorSource Pars, ETC ColorSource Jr Zoom Fixtures and brand new Chauvet Followspot200ST LED fixtures.

Metro Cinema is Edmonton’s independent, community-driven cinema. Presenting diverse and unforgettable film experiences at the historic Garneau Theatre. We are so proud to work with them on this lighting addition!

Have a space that could use a lighting upgrade?
Give us a shout!
We’d love to see how we can help you, too!

School is back in session, and according to us, some of the most important school supplies have officially arrived!

École Secondaire St. Albert Catholic High School is ready to put their new portable lighting system to work in their flex spaces, black box and gymnasium, giving them the flexibility to create great lighting for all kinds of events and performances.

Portable lighting systems are easy to use, incredibly versatile and perfect for supplementing existing stage lighting or transforming an ordinary space into a true performance space.

We delivered this system just in time for the start of the school year, and we’ll be back in October for a full session of training with staff and students.

See you soon, St. Albert! 🎭

If you are an educator who finds your school in need of an upgrade, give us a call! We'd love to get the ball rollin'

Thanks to our client Heart Lake First Nation for inviting us out! What an incredible weekend to be part of! The space was full of energy, colour and celebration, and our lighting helped bring that atmosphere to life throughout the event.

Outdoor event lighting can completely transform a space, adding colour, depth and a little extra magic to the experience.

It was a fantastic out of town adventure for the Production Lighting crew, and we really enjoyed being part of such a memorable weekend.

Here are a few of our favourite shots!

Here’s a little something we've been working on in the shop this week 🌟✨

Check out this display we set up for a customer looking to reach the stars… literally!

There’s something about our Star Drape that instantly transforms a space. Add some carefully placed lighting and you can take a simple backdrop and turn it into something dramatic, immersive and just a little bit magical.

We love getting creative with our customers and finding ways to make their ideas come to life. If you’re dreaming up something a little out of this world, give us a shout!

A big shout out to all of the techs, artists, performers and writers who came together to put on another fabulous Late Night Cabaret at this year’s Fringe Festival! It was truly

The Production Lighting staff were lucky enough to attend, and let us tell you… rave reviews all around! What an amazing show, filled with incredibly talented performers and artists. It’s exactly the kind of event that reminds us why we love being part of Edmonton’s arts community.

We were especially proud to support this year’s Cabaret by providing the lighting for the production. Being able to contribute our equipment and resources to help bring a show like this to life is one of the things we love most about what we do.

Congratulations to everyone involved in making Late Night Cabaret such a success, and thank you for letting us be a small part of something so much bigger.

We’ll be back in the audience next year!

Earlier this month, we provided a simple but highly effective stage for an outdoor symphony event at the beautiful for the , Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra.

Our client wanted something more level and sturdier than sheets of plywood, so our portable Smartstage riser decks were just the ticket!

Over the past few months, we worked with the Saskatoon Public School Board to upgrade the drapery and hardware in seven high school theatres. These schools now have IFR rated, lush fabrics and smooth moving hardware from our friends at Ontario Staging Limited, making the student's and teacher's experience safer and easier, just in time for the new school year!

While upgrading the hardware, we also found some cool old drape hardware track and a manual crank Grand Drape opener, now on display at our Saskatoon office.

Give us a call for your next drapery project, big or small!
