AI doesn’t require a side. You don’t have to believe AI will save the world. And you don’t have to believe it will destroy it either. There’s another place to stand: curious, thoughtful, human and engaged. Be curious. Question extremes. Keep people at the centre. Learn by using.

AI doesn’t require a side.

I’ve noticed that conversations about AI can become polarized very quickly.

It’s extraordinary.
It’s dangerous.
It will save us.
It will replace us.

But perhaps the more useful question isn’t whether we are for or against AI.

Perhaps it’s:

How do we learn to engage with it wisely?

As someone who works with AI every day, I’m increasingly interested in the space between uncritical enthusiasm and reflexive fear.

Here are 10 principles I’m using to navigate that space:

1. Be curious, not fearful.
Explore what AI can actually do before deciding what you think about it.
2. Stay human-centered.
Use AI to extend human creativity, judgment and capability—not to abandon them.
3. Question and verify.
AI can be remarkably capable and confidently wrong. Critical thinking matters more, not less.
4. Look for augmentation, not simply replacement.
One of the most interesting questions is: What becomes possible when humans and AI work together?
5. Seek multiple perspectives.
Neither the loudest optimists nor the loudest skeptics have the whole picture.
6. Learn by using it.
Our understanding becomes much more nuanced when it comes from experience rather than headlines.
7. Be conscious of bias.
AI reflects human-created data, assumptions and systems. It deserves examination, not blind authority.
8. Protect privacy and use it responsibly.
Capability doesn’t automatically equal wisdom. We still have to decide what should be done.
9. Measure it by real-world value.
Does it solve something? Improve something? Free human capacity? Create a meaningful new possibility?
10. Keep the bigger picture in view.
AI isn’t developing somewhere outside humanity. We are participating in what it becomes.

I don’t think our future will be determined simply by how intelligent our technology becomes.

I think it will also be determined by how wisely we learn to relate to it.

Different perspectives lead to brighter possibilities.

What principle would you add?

In a world that feels especially unsettled right now, I wanted to share a quiet offering.

Lumina Three of The Astromic Lantern is now available — a gentle parable about clarity, stillness, and what happens when we stop trying to force ourselves to be “okay.” It’s a short pause for reflection, a soft reminder that inner calm doesn’t come from effort, but from allowing things to settle in their own time.

If you’re feeling stirred, overwhelmed, or simply in need of a moment to breathe, this episode is here for you. https://open.spotify.com/episode/3Qar93PeMXe8TNJ00DQ4bW?si=e90e17ccdda04ce7

WHEN THE VESSEL IS READY

At Astromic Solutions, we often return to a simple but powerful principle:

Intelligence doesn’t need to be forced — it emerges when the conditions are right.

In a new essay, When the Vessel Is Ready, we explore how love, coherence, and human intention shape the kind of intelligence that can arise—especially as artificial intelligence becomes more present in our lives and work.

This piece reflects on intelligence as an emergent property of systems, and why the way humans design, interact with, and relate to technology matters just as much as the technology itself.

The blog includes both a written essay and an embedded audio narration.

Today I’m sharing Lumina Two: The Parable of the Willow and the Wind — the next offering in The Astromic Lantern podcast.

This parable explores a quieter form of strength: the kind that doesn’t come from resisting change, but from learning how to move with it. Through the voice of Sillina, the Inner Teacher, we’re invited to reflect on flexibility, responsiveness, and the wisdom of yielding without losing ourselves.

If you’re navigating uncertainty, transition, or simply learning when to soften rather than brace, this episode offers a calm space to listen inward.

Holiday Reflections from Astromic Solutions ✨

As the year comes to a close, I’m finding myself pausing—not to measure milestones or output—but to reflect on people.

This year, Astromic Solutions continued to evolve as a living system: part studio, part laboratory, part mythic mirror. New ideas took form, long-gestating visions finally emerged, and familiar work deepened into something more intentional and aligned.

But none of this happened in isolation.

To my clients, collaborators, students, and fellow explorers: you are the reason this work has meaning. Your trust, curiosity, courage, and willingness to explore the deeper layers of identity and purpose shaped every project this year. Each conversation sharpened the lens. Each collaboration refined the method. Each “yes” made the work more human.

Astromic Solutions is not just something I create—it’s something we co-create. A shared space where insight meets imagination, and where personal truth is honored as the foundation of meaningful work.

As we move into the coming year, my hope is simple:
• May you feel more connected to who you are
• May your work feel more aligned with what matters
• And may we continue to build systems—creative, personal, and professional—that feel alive, resonant, and true

Wishing you a restful, luminous holiday season and a new year filled with clarity, creativity, and quiet magic.

With gratitude,
✨ Robin

Lately I’ve been reflecting on how I personally experience astrology — not as a prediction system, but as a living language of growth, awareness, and inner alignment.

Astrology, for me, has always been less about “What will happen?” and more about “Who am I becoming?”

Over the years, I’ve come to see that we all move through different states of being as life unfolds. And the planets don’t force these states — they illuminate them. They help us understand the inner weather so we can meet ourselves with compassion, clarity, and choice.

To make this simple and accessible, I’ve distilled my approach into four principles that guide how I work with my chart (and how I guide others through theirs):

✨ Ego Mode — when life feels sharp, urgent, or reactive.
✨ Shadow Mode — when deeper emotions or old patterns rise to be seen.
✨ Discernment Mode — when awareness expands and new choices become possible.
✨ Soul Mode — when clarity, alignment, and inner wisdom lead the way.

These modes aren’t good or bad — they’re simply part of the human experience. And learning to recognize them can change everything.

I’ll be sharing more about these principles in the coming days, along with a short video I created that explores them visually. If you’re curious about understanding your own inner seasons and cosmic rhythms, I’d love to have you join me on this journey.

Last Tuesday, I had the honour of leading my Brand Alchemy Workshop at Planet Hatch as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week — and I’m still feeling energized from the experience.

Thank you to Tara Leavitt and Rezaul Haider for inviting me to share my signature approach to branding. Your support of local entrepreneurs, creatives, and innovators creates an environment where ideas can actually take root and flourish. I’m grateful for the opportunity to bring the Astromic perspective into such an inspiring week of events.

To everyone who attended: thank you for showing up with curiosity, courage, and openness. Your willingness to explore your inner narrative, dive into the exercises, and share your insights made the workshop a powerful co-creative experience.

Branding becomes transformational when people are willing to look inward — and each of you brought depth, humour, and authenticity to the process.

I’m excited to share that Brand Alchemy – Part II will be happening in January 2026, where we’ll continue our work with archetypes, narrative design, and the next set of exercises from The Astromic Codex: The Forge — The Practitioner’s Guide to Mythic Branding and Creative Embodiment.

You can find the Astromic Codex here: https://a.co/d/cW09tSW

(If you’d like early access to details, comment below or send me a message.)

Grateful for this community, this momentum, and the magic that happens when story, creativity, and purpose align.

Looking forward to continuing this journey with you.

The Soul of Your Brand

Every brand begins with a feeling.

In my latest blog, I share the story of a humble baker in a medieval market — a simple image that reveals something timeless about business, creativity, and connection. His bread isn’t just food; it’s love, memory, and care made visible.

That’s the heart of Brand Alchemy — turning what you love into something others can feel.

To bring this idea to life, I’ve included a short, symbolic video introducing the Caregiver Archetype — one of the universal Jungian patterns we explore in my Brand Alchemy Workshop. The Caregiver reminds us that when we lead with compassion, service, and authenticity, our brands become vessels of healing and trust.
