Notice to Our Valued Customers

After 25 wonderful years in business, we would like to let you know that our store will be closing on August 14th as we begin the next chapter . We are retiring.

We are incredibly thankful for the support we’ve received across the Burin Peninsula, and especially to the residents of Grand Bank, who have welcomed us and supported our business since we moved here in 2003.

As sad as it is to leave, we are looking forward to the next chapter and feel privileged to be able to make this decision after 25 years in business. We will miss the people, the chats we had, and Bernard will especially miss his treats that were always so generously brought in for him and the staff.

We’d also like to express our deep gratitude to Wayne Lockyer and Peggy Riggs—the best employees anyone could ever hope to have. Any place of business would be lucky to have them, and we certainly were. Wayne has been with us since 2008, and Peggy since 2010. We wish them both nothing but the very best in the future.

It has been a privilege to have you all as customers. Thank you is never enough for all the support you have given us. It has truly been our pleasure to serve you all.
