This past Tuesday, cofounders Morgan and Kalvin MacLeod had the pleasure of attending the annual Progressive Contractors Association of Canada’s Ontario Conference.
Hosted by PCA, the event brought together professionals from across the construction industry to reflect on shared values, explore emerging trends, and discuss how the evolving political landscape could shape what is next for the sector. It was also a great opportunity to catch up with our clients, North America Construction (NAC) and RAR Litigation.
There were some excellent sessions throughout the day, including updates on infrastructure and skills training, a valuable presentation from PCA on the federal and provincial political landscape and what it means for members, and a timely session from Alex Fotinos of RAR Litigation on the Ontario Construction Act, arbitration, and other recent highlights in construction law from across Canada.
After the conference, attendees and sponsors were invited to the Blue Jays Social, which brought together great people, networking, food, and baseball.
Being part of a community at the forefront of the construction industry, representing a collective of contractors, entrepreneurs, and business owners whose workforces have chosen the progressive unionized model, is something we truly value, and having the chance to sponsor the event made it even more meaningful.
Thanks for having us, PCA!
