XS-85 was created to invert this paradigm.
A loudspeaker is not an inert enclosure; we consider it a true musical instrument. And, like every instrument, it lives through controlled vibrations.
For this reason, the cabinet is not designed to fight energy, but to manage it, tune it and integrate it into the overall behaviour of the system.
The catenary curves of XS-85 are a fundamental part of this architecture.
Inspired by the Italian engineering and architectural tradition, they allow mechanical forces to be distributed more efficiently, reducing energy build-up and creating conditions of greater balance and control.
The aim is not to emphasise certain frequencies in order to achieve a spectacular effect.
It is to allow the music to express itself with naturalness, dynamics and freedom, transforming the extraction of the truth of the recording into a physical and emotional experience.

Per decenni, la vibrazione è stata considerata il principale nemico della riproduzione sonora, qualcosa che doveva essere smorzata, isolata e soppressa.
XS-85 nasce per invertire questo paradigma.
Un diffusore non è un contenitore inerte, noi lo consideriamo un vero e proprio strumento musicale. E, come ogni strumento, vive attraverso vibrazioni controllate.
Per questo il cabinet non viene progettato per combattere l’energia, ma per gestirla, accordarla e integrarla nel comportamento complessivo del sistema.
Le curve catenarie delle XS-85 sono parte fondamentale di questa architettura.
Ispirate alla tradizione ingegneristica e architettonica italiana, permettono di distribuire le forze meccaniche in modo più efficiente, ridurre gli accumuli energetici e creare condizioni di maggiore equilibrio e controllo.
L’obiettivo non è enfatizzare alcune frequenze per ottenere un effetto spettacolare.
