Good design doesn't start with design. Before we begin exploring what something should look like, we need to understand what it needs to accomplish.
That means getting to know the organization, its audiences, goals, challenges, and the context surrounding the work. Those insights help us make more informed decisions about everything that follows, from strategy and messaging to user experience and creative direction.
By doing that thinking upfront, design becomes more than a visual exercise. It becomes a way to solve the right problem and create something that works for the people it needs to reach.
