So true, especially when it comes to logo design.

"If something is not good in black, it won't be good in another colour."

Colour can enhance or emphasize, but it can never rescue a weak foundation. If your layout, logo, illustration, or interface doesn't feel balanced, readable, or impactful in black and white. Adding colour or any other hue won't fix the underlying problems.

Hard Truth:
If that raw black and white version feels weak, unbalanced, unclear, or boring, adding colour won't save it.
