We are growing rapidly and looking for a developer with a strong knowledge base in front-end development to help build and evolve our various user applications that range from Data-Visualizations, to Workflow Mapping. What You’ll Work On:
As a Front-End Developer, you will help with architecture, design, and development of our real-time interface. You will also have a focus on improving the performance, usability, look, and design of our manufacturing analysis tools. Ideally, you will play a key role in shaping the best user experience available for discovering manufacturing insights for clients such as Magna and Mother Parkers. Responsibilities include:
- Designing reusable, reactive, and performant UI components and containers with React
- Real-time data informatics, and creating immersive and interactive experiences with GraphQL, Apollo, or Relay
- Implementing responsive design techniques for Desktop and Mobile devices
- Developing a Electron application using React to simplify remote support for IoT Devices
- Creating environments and graphs using React, SVG, and Canvas to help users to truly explore what’s going on in their factory
- Designing user notification experiences to deliver insights and walk user through workflows to control of their factory
- Conducting user interviews and studies for usability and design requirements

What You Need To Succeed:
- A passion for building beautiful and interactive user experiences
- Strong understanding and experience using React.js, Electron, Jest, GraphQL, Webpack, Apollo and Relay; bonus points for experience with React Hooks
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
- Hands-on experience in disparate technologies, ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between but with an emphasis on front-end user interfaces
- 2+ years’ relevant work experience developing software with languages such as Typescript/Javascript, Python, C #/C/C++, and Java
- Strong verbal and written skills and ability to communicate with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
- BS degree in Computer Engineering or similar technical field of study
