❤️ Okay friends, I’m hoping we can make a little bit of magic happen.
I’ve been trying to repair a 3D printer for a young local boy who’s going through some significant challenges. So far, the printer is winning. 😂
I’m keeping the details private out of respect for him and his family. But his printer is something that brings him happiness, and I’d really love to get him creating again. That sounds good.
We’ve already replaced the hot end assembly and the extruder, but we’re still struggling to get it working properly. Parts for this particular printer are extremely hard to find, and unfortunately, Anycubic support hasn’t been helpful in getting this resolved.
So I thought I’d ask our community. ❤️
Does anyone have a working 3D printer they no longer use and would be willing to donate? Or would a few people be interested in pitching in toward a new one? I did find him a good starter printer on sale right now for $300 and i donate will the first $100
Nobody needs to break the bank. A few dollars, a share, or tagging someone who might have a spare printer could help make this happen.
I’d love to hand this kid a working printer and give him something exciting to look forward to.
