Big news out of Apple 🍎

Tim Cook will step into the role of Executive Chairman this September, with John Ternus taking over as CEO.

Ternus has been a key part of Apple’s hardware leadership for years, helping shape the Mac, iPhone, and more — so this looks like a transition built on continuity rather than disruption.

It’ll be interesting to see how Apple evolves from here, especially as AI and next-generation hardware take center stage.

A quick heads-up for anyone still using an older Mac 👇

We’re seeing more machines lately that are no longer receiving security updates from Apple — and most people don’t even realize it.

If your Mac is:
• 8–12+ years old
• Stuck on macOS Catalina or earlier

Mac Outpost will be closed Friday, April 3 for Good Friday, and we will also be closed Saturday April 4 and Sunday April 5.

We’ll be back open Monday morning at 8 AM.

This gives our staff an extended break to spend some time with family!
