Another one worth sharing.

A business came to me with 7 lines on Bell, paying $700/month for Canada/US coverage. Their renewal offer? Higher cost, less included. The carrier was betting they wouldn't look elsewhere.

Here's where they landed instead: same $700 starting point, but now with Mexico roaming added, more data, six new iPhone 17 Pros and a Samsung Galaxy Flip 8 — plus a $5,000 bill credit that brought their real cost down to about $560/month over three years.

Same monthly ballpark. Dramatically more value. The client was genuinely surprised it was possible.

It usually is. The renewal a carrier hands you is almost never their best offer — it's their hope you won't check. That's the whole reason I do this.

Phone. Internet. Payments. Mortgage. Most business owners handle each of those with a different company — and a different runaround when something needs attention.

Bujold Services is the alternative: one person who knows your whole picture, watching all of it, so you're never overpaying on autopilot. Telecom to mortgages, it's all one conversation. When you're ready for a second opinion on any of it, I'm here.

Twenty years in telecom and six as a mortgage broker means I've sat across the table from a lot of business owners. The thing that's stayed constant: people don't want to be sold to. They want someone who'll tell them the truth about what they need and what they don't. That's the whole job, really.

Here's something I find myself telling business owners constantly: your carrier is not going to call you to offer a better rate. Ever. The pricing you signed up for can sit unchanged for years while the market moves well past it — and the only way that gets fixed is if someone puts the carrier on notice that you're paying attention. You don't even have to switch to win. You just have to know what's actually available before your next renewal. Most businesses are one honest review away from real savings.

A lot of businesses I work with started out juggling separate companies for mobile, internet, and payments — three logins, three bills, three support lines, and three different "sorry, that's not my department" conversations when something broke. What changes when it all runs through one point of contact isn't just the savings. It's that when something goes wrong, you make one call — to someone who already knows your whole setup. The relief of that is the part people don't expect.

A recent one that stuck with me.

A business came to me on a plan that only covered Canada, paying well above what the market actually offers. They had no idea there was anything better — they'd just been renewing what they had.

After a review, here's where they landed: roaming across Canada, the US, and Mexico (they'd had Canada-only), double the data, and a significant bill credit on top — all while their monthly cost went down. Over the term, the savings worked out to more than $10,000.

Nothing about that was luck or a special deal. It's what's available to almost any business willing to shop around and put their carrier on notice. Most just don't know they can, or don't have the time to dig in.

That's the part that gets me: it's not that these owners made a mistake. The information is deliberately hard to see. They just needed someone to look.

If it's been a couple of years since anyone reviewed your business's plans, it's worth a look. Worst case, you find out you're already in good shape.

After 20 years in telecommunications, here's the pattern I couldn't stop noticing: the people making decisions about their business's phone, internet, and connectivity almost never have the full picture — and it costs them.

That's not a knock on them. No business owner should have to become a telecom expert on top of running their company. But the carriers count on it. They'll quietly keep billing out-of-date pricing year after year — sometimes two or three times the current market rate — because nobody's watching and nobody thought to put them on notice.

I started Bujold Services to be the person who is watching. An honest guide who sits on your side of the table, knows where the money hides, and is there at every renewal to make sure you're getting the best price and the best service — not just whatever rolls over automatically.

That's the whole idea. One person who knows your setup, looking out for it, for the long haul.

If your contracts haven't had a real second opinion in a while, let's talk.
