Today marks the 78th anniversary of the historic DDay operations where combining land, sea and air components fought to liberate Europe. Let us always remember their incredible sacrifices.

The Holy Roller is one of only two Canadian Sherman tanks to return home to Canada in 1946 after it’s successful campaign and fight through Europe from D-Day to VE Day.

This beloved historic monument has has stood across from Smart Start Camp in Victoria Park since 1956 until last year when it was moved to undergo an extensive preservation process by the incredible .ca team.

We can’t wait to visit the park with our campers and our DSLR cameras this summer to visit and capture images of this incredible piece of history restored.

Visit Zeus, the fuzzy rabbit named after the Greek god of thunder, a hamster who never sleeps, an iguana, fish, snakes, a tarantula and some lizards such as this vibrant Giant Day Gecko.
