I'm recommending everyone with a Google, Apple, and Facebook account to change their passwords. Possibly the world's largest data breach was recently discovered, affecting over 16 Billion usernames. Best practice is to have a password 15 characters or longer with mixed capital, number, symbol included. Also enabling two-factor or passkey when available.

Don't be like this guy! It bears repeating though, putting a wet phone in rice really doesn't work. Dessicant Gel packs are the best bet. If you can't get to myself to disassemble and dry your phone quickly for you, purchase some dessicant Gel packs and remove the SIM card tray. Put the packs and phone in a ziplock bag and leave at least 18 hours.
