Exposing the myth…

We think Monday mornings are a good time to remind you that if your phone gets wet, putting it in rice will NOT help, and it actually make things worse 😬

Do this instead:
✅ 1. TURN IT OFF — If it’s safe to do so, shut it down immediately. Don’t keep using it to see if it still works.

✅ 2. DON’T CHARGE IT — Electricity and moisture can be a costly combination!

✅ 3. REMOVE THE CASE — Gently dry the outside with a soft cloth.

✅ 4. LET IT BREATHE — Leave it in a dry area with good airflow. No rice, hair dryers, heaters or poking around in the charging port!

✅ 5. GET IT CHECKED — Especially if it was submerged or exposed to anything other than clean water. Don’t wait for the damage to get worse.

⚠️ Remember: A phone can appear to work normally and still have moisture or corrosion developing inside.

The sooner you take the right steps, the better your chances of limiting further damage, but no method can guarantee recovery.
