✨ A powerful reminder from WBE Canada Supplier Innovation Day in Montreal last week: how we show up matters.
Dr. Georgette Zinaty MBA MSc DBA iGP shared an inspiring message about the power of presence — how we present ourselves, the energy we bring into every room, and the impact we create when we lead with authenticity.
That message stayed with me.
As entrepreneurs and leaders, it’s easy to get caught up in the strategy, the numbers, the goals, and the next opportunity. But at the heart of every successful relationship is trust — and trust starts with knowing our value, showing up authentically, and bringing our true selves to the table.
One of the highlights of the day was reconnecting with familiar faces, including my former colleague Kim Beardsell (she/her), while also building new connections with inspiring women entrepreneurs and leaders who continue to make an impact.
This is what makes communities like WBE Canada so meaningful. Supplier diversity is not only about opening doors to opportunities — it is about creating relationships, sharing experiences, and learning from one another as we navigate change and uncertainty.
