Would you push someone off a 50-foot building? Of course not! But hitting a pedestrian at 40 mph can have the same impact as a 54-foot fall.

To make this terrifying reality impossible to ignore, Virginia’s Department of Motor Vehicles installed a giant 50-foot yellow ladder at The Diamond stadium in Richmond.

It’s a brilliant example of ambient marketing. Instead of relying on another stat-heavy billboard, the campaign turns an abstract number into something drivers can actually see and feel.
