It's the MOST wonderful time of the year!!

𝟚𝟘𝟚𝟞 ℂ𝕙𝕣𝕚𝕤𝕥𝕞𝕒𝕤 𝕄𝕚𝕟𝕚 𝕊𝕖𝕤𝕤𝕚𝕠𝕟 𝕓𝕠𝕠𝕜𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕤 𝕒𝕣𝕖 𝕟𝕠𝕨 𝕠𝕡𝕖𝕟!

We have been doing this for over ten years now and it never gets less exciting for me and Santa. Every year we pull out all the stops and work tirelessly to make sure that we are giving the most Christmas, the most color, the most holiday vibes ever. If you've done Christmas with Creative Isle before, then you already know you are in for a fun, easy session and the speedy return of a gallery chock full of beautiful portraits you will cherish forever.

We will be booking sessions 7 days a week to make sure there is a spot for everyone! Weekends tend to be fast and crazy, so if you know your children would do better in a slowed-down session and you are able to come in on a weekday, just let me know at booking and I will be sure to leave extra time for you.

Sorry to tease all our 2026 Christmas news and then disappear - I took a couple of days off to nurse a very bad cold. 'Tis the season for that, I guess. These are our large family sized backdrops - A cosy fireplace on one, and a wall with vintage style wallpaper and holiday garland. And together they form a "room" setup big enough to shoot the whole family! These backdrops are custom made - no one else in the world is going to have these, making your Christmas portraits unique! I am getting so excited!!!!

We are working hard to get everything ready for Christmas Mini Sessions! Today, I made four new baby backdrops to add to my collection. The top two are for the Baby Table, for little ones up to about a year old to sit in front of, while the bottom two are for newborn babies to lay on top of. I will also be bringing back all the baby drops from previous years too because they are all so adorable, so you will have a great selection to choose from!
There is still so much to do to get ready to bring you the biggest and best Christmas sessions ever. I hope you are as excited as I am! Stay tuned in the coming days for all the details.

Summer went by way too fast! Suddenly it's back to school time again. As usual, we are offering an amazing BackTo School Portrait Package: 10 minute sessions, all the portraits included, $50! (For one school child, but extra children are only $10 each) This year we have a selection of traditional headshot backdrops in studio, and we also have a really cool collection of digital backdrops too. Every session will have an assortment of both! You can choose your favourites during the session, or leave it up to me to surprise you.

You may wonder what the advantages are to going to a studio for school pictures:
~ First of all, it's a fun experience to share with your child! We laugh, we get silly.
~You are also on hand to fix stray hair or straighten clothes up, we have ample time to make sure each portrait is perfect.
~You are welcome to hop in a portrait too if you like!
~You can get group portraits of all your children.
~You can include props from your home if you like, a favourite stuffed animal, a pet, etc.
~You can do a wardrobe change, if you'd like to get their sport or dance uniform.
~ You don't have to choose a package from a couple of portraits that look almost the same.
~ Best of all, you get them back within a day or two!

Mom & Me and Dad & Me sessions are underway and going great! I'm loving how the simple sets showcase the people, all the hugs and cuddles and tickles! My new backdorp for preschool graduation sessions has arrived, and it's super cute. Those will start in June and run for the whole month for $45. Another new addition to our packages is mini sessions for newborns! I had a lot of requests for something simple and more affordable, so these sessions are only a few minutes long. You choose a single color and i will have three sets ready to go when you arrive. We will swaddle baby in your chosen color and shoot the three sets in rapid succession, and a free family pose is included, $200! I've already run a few trials and it works great. Designed for newborn babies under 2 weeks old (or adjusted age of 2 weeks for premies)
