Industry Highlight: Your base rate is leaving money on the table

Quick gut check: when's the last time you looked at revenue per guest instead of just guest count?

Most operators default to the same approach when they want to grow: sell more tickets. But the operators actually growing their margins right now aren't hustling harder for new bookings, they're getting more out of the ones they already have.
Here's where the money is hiding:

📸 Photography and video packages. You already have a guide on-site and a guest having the best day of their week. Turn that into a product with high margin and almost no marginal cost.

🌟 Priority access and private upgrades. If your tour breaks even with just a few guests, private upgrades are a big profit boost that create a better experience for everyone - even your guides. This is the easiest ""yes"" you can offer someone who's already decided to book.

📦 Curated bundles over à la carte menus. A guest staring down five optional add-ons will often pick none of them. The same guest presented with one great "Full Day Experience" package will say yes without blinking.Trade extra decisions for a higher perceived value.

🛡️ Trip protection add-ons. They may not provide direct revenue, but they help protect your bottom line from cancellations. It's peace of mind for guests and a safety net for you.
None of this requires touching your base price or spending another dollar on ads. You just need to give the customers you already have the things they already want.

Remember, the real question isn't "how do I get more bookings?" It's "how do I make every booking worth more?"
