Our story couldn’t have been better told- Evoke Health Inc.'s resident and family portal, EngagePlus featured in Canadian National News, highlighting its impact at one of the LTC homes, the Isabel and Arthur Meighen Manor in Toronto!

When Graham and I developed this software, our goal was to ease the burden on long-term care staff by providing families with real-time access to their loved ones' care information. Hearing how it has already transformed communication and care—cutting down on calls, improving workflow, and giving families peace of mind—reinforces why we started this journey.

This is just the beginning. We believe that all long-term care homes should have access to this kind of technology, and it's gratifying to see more and more LTC homes adopt EngagePlus. Together, we can make quality care and communication the standard, not the exception.

The findings from CMS-commissioned study on staffing mandate indicate that there's no 'one-size-fits-all' staffing ratio that guarantees quality care. The current staffing crisis coupled with the new staffing mandates both in US and Canada is a recipe for further staff burn out and low occupancy levels. This can lead to nursing homes shutting down and thousands of older adults being stranded for care.

The industry's landscape is dramatically shifting in this Post-COVID world and it's time for our industry to come together for a greater good of the residents.
