Healthcare environments are complex, fast-moving, and high-risk. Yet many facilities still rely on manual processes and limited visibility to manage infection exposure, room readiness, and operational safety. This creates uncertainty for care teams and unnecessary risk for patients.
Autonomous systems like the cBot UV-C robot are designed to bring precision and consistency into these critical spaces. With intelligent navigation, automated operation, and real-time performance data, cBot helps healthcare facilities operate more safely and efficiently at scale. It’s a practical example of how robotics and AI can take on repetitive, high-risk tasks and support stronger, more resilient healthcare operations across Africa

Africa’s hospitals are fighting invisible enemies every day.

Hospital-acquired infections continue to cost lives, time, and resources across the continent. In many facilities, disinfection is still manual and inconsistent, increasing patient risk and accelerating antimicrobial resistance.

The video shows cBot, an autonomous UV-C disinfection robot, operating inside a hospital in Istanbul. It eliminates up to 99.99% of harmful pathogens on air and surfaces, delivering consistent, auditable infection control without exposing healthcare workers.

Through our partnership with RoboLabs, we are introducing this technology to Africa, starting with a pilot in Rwanda. Not as a luxury, but as essential healthcare infrastructure.

This is about protecting patients, supporting frontline workers, and strengthening hospital safety in environments where resources are already stretched.

We are open to collaboration with hospitals, ministries of health, NGOs, and partners committed to safer, smarter healthcare systems in Africa.

Africa is losing thousands of lives every year to hospital-acquired infections. Manual disinfection is no longer enough.

Today, in partnership with RoboLabs, we are deploying the cBot UV-C Disinfection Robot across African healthcare systems, starting in Rwanda.

Proven globally. Built for impact:
• 99.99% pathogen elimination
• 35% faster room disinfection
• 50% lower labor costs
• 40% fewer hospital-acquired infections

cBot navigates autonomously, provides real-time digital reports, and delivers consistent, verifiable disinfection at a scale humans cannot match.

This is more than technology. It’s a chance to strengthen infection control, protect frontline workers, reduce AMR, and modernize hospital systems across the continent.

We are inviting hospitals, ministries, NGOs, and partners to collaborate with us in deploying advanced, reliable infection-control robotics in Africa.

Today marks an incredible milestone for African innovation in healthcare technology.
We are proud to officially announce our partnership with RoboLabs Elektronik Otomasyon to deploy cBot , an advanced UV-C disinfection robot , across African healthcare facilities, starting with a pilot program in Rwanda.

The cBot platform has already demonstrated exceptional performance in Türkiye, Saudi Arabia, and Canada, achieving:
- 99.99% microbe disinfection rate
- 35% faster room sterilization
- 50% reduction in labor costs
- 40% decrease in hospital-acquired infections
Built with precision and reliability, cBot autonomously navigates hospital environments — from ICUs to surgical rooms, using advanced sensor fusion, real-time mapping, and cloud-based task tracking. It operates without consumables, minimizes human exposure, and provides auditable results for infection control teams.

This partnership reflects our shared vision to redefine infection control in Africa through robotics, automation, and AI, ensuring cleaner, safer, and smarter healthcare environments.
At ZeroX Intelligence, we believe African healthcare deserves world-class technology — made accessible, scalable, and sustainable. Working with RoboLabs, we are not only deploying robots but also building the foundation for a resilient, intelligent healthcare ecosystem powered by African innovation.

A huge thank you to Samer Abduldayem, CEO of RoboLabs, and the entire team for trusting in this mission and joining us to make this vision a reality. Together, we’re setting a new standard for infection prevention.

Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) is a growing threat to global health, and Africa is especially vulnerable. At ZeroX Intelligence, we’re developing Medikal AI, a smart, multilingual healthcare system that supports diagnosis, improves medication adherence, and sends automated reminders to ensure patients follow through with treatment. This innovation has the power to reduce the impact of AMR by helping doctors make better-informed decisions and empowering patients to stay on track.

As the Global AI Summit on Africa unfolds hosted , it’s clear: this is more than a conference. It’s a wake-up call for Africa to lead in solving African problems with African-built AI. Tackling AMR requires urgent collaboration, investment, and a shared vision. Medikal is one piece of the puzzle, but we need collective action to build a healthier, smarter continent.

ZeroX Intelligence is proud to introduce Medikal 2.0. Our AI-driven healthcare platform, first deployed in Rwanda, enhances diagnosis, medication adherence, and fights Antimicrobial Resistance. Integrated into medical systems, it empowers doctors with data-driven treatment recommendations.

Medikal 2.0 is designed to enhance medical diagnosis, medication adherence, and patient care in Africa, with a strong focus on tackling Antimicrobial Resistance. This version integrates seamlessly into existing medical software used in Rwanda and other African regions, acting as an intelligent layer for data-driven decision-making in healthcare facilities.

When a patient arrives at a medical facility, the receptionist determines whether it is their first visit. If so, they are registered in the system from the ground up. For returning patients, the receptionist enters a unique identifier, such as a Mutual Assistance Number and name, allowing the system to retrieve their last three medical history records in PDF format.

Once the doctor assesses the patient, they record the current symptoms and condition. Medikal 2.0 processes both the new symptoms and the patient’s past medical history, analyzing the data to generate AI-driven recommendations for appropriate medications and treatment plans. These recommendations support doctors in making more informed and accurate prescriptions while helping mitigate antimicrobial resistance.

After the consultation, the system securely stores the patient’s visit details, ensuring that future medical history is readily available for subsequent visits. This structured approach improves the efficiency of healthcare providers, optimizes patient care, and strengthens medical research by providing structured and analyzable health data.
