There is currently a large power outage affecting over 6,000 Hydro One connections in an area stretching from Portland to Maberly and Flower Station to Portland. We are currently experiencing outages within our network due to the power interruption which may be affecting your service.

Our teams are currently working to restore services where we can to our clients affected by this outage as soon as possible

Update on Recent Windstorm Impact:

On the evening of Friday May 29 severe winds swept through Eastern Ontario, downing trees and branches and cutting power to tens of thousands of hydro customers, including many of Storm Internet's customers in the Perth, Middleville, Pakenham, Lavant and Galbraith areas and beyond.

Storm Internet's staff monitored the situation on Friday night through to the early hours of Saturday, May 30. Then, on Saturday morning, we dispatched technicians where it was safe for us to do so with battery packs and generators in order to reduce the impact for clients connected to our network.

Severe damage to our infrastructure was, thankfully, limited and restoration efforts and damage assessments continued through Sunday May 31 with most customers' services restored by Monday afternoon.

We want to thank our valued customers for their patience during the outage and for choosing Storm Internet Services!
