This is what you're doing wrong with your social media posts and ads (and what to do instead)...
Do you know what 99% of small business owners like yourself do when posting on social media, but is turning away business?
Talk about themselves and their products.
But aren't you supposed to???
The answer is no. The first words anyone reads from you should be about THEM. Let me explain...
(one of my fav book passages:)
Only 3% of people are 'ready to buy' your product. Good luck fishing them out of a crowd.
7% of people are just 'open to' what you have to sell.
30% don't think they're interested.
30% aren't thinking about what you're selling at all.
30% KNOW they're not interested.
So now think about being on stage in a stadium. You have 5 minutes to sell your product on stage - what are the first words out of your mouth going to be?
'Hi, my name is Karen and I am a personal trainer."
90% of the stadium just walked out.
But if you said, 'I want to tell you the three things you can do in the next seven days to feel sexy in your own skin.'
Boom. Who cares what you're selling, you've just appealed to most of your audience and more of them are waiting to hear what's next out of your mouth.
