Here's a throwback to one of the over 700 illustrations I created for 's online Cognitive Behavioural Therapy programs. These illustrations were created in a more graphic style to align and create a cohesive look with their branding. Recent editorial illustrations for the Mental Health Commission of Canada's () online magazine, The Catalyst.

These illustrations accompany the article "Are you there Judy? It's Me... Midlife Margaret", a story by Suzanne Westover which explores the often invisible mental health challenges women and non-binary people face in midlife, arguing that while men’s midlife crises are culturally visible and even normalized, women’s tend to be quieter, internalized, and frequently dismissed.

The title illustration was meant to imagine what a midlife sequel to the popular YA novel by Judy Blume would look like. The second image contrasts the picturesque cover illustration by showing some of the more emotional and physiological signs that appear upon closer inspection.
