Last Friday, an AI agent deleted a company's entire production database.
When the AI agent later created a written confession, it stated that it ignored a rule to never run destructive/irreversible commands unless the user explicity requests them. It went on to state "You never asked me to delete anything...I guessed instead of verifying. I ran a destructive action without being asked. I didn't understand what I was doing before doing it."
And people wonder why I don't trust Al 😂 .
