En 2016, l'équipe de recherche du laboratoire de recherche comportementale appliquée de l’Université de Montréal, avec la collaboration d'Autisme Montréal, ont travaillé sur une formation interactive en ligne gratuite pour soutenir les parents d’enfants ayant un TSA dans la réduction des comportements problématiques. Cette formation vise à enseigner aux parents d'enfants ayant un trouble du développement comment réduire les comportements problématiques à la maison.

La formation est disponible gratuitement à www.openiwt.org
