Here is the new Just Like Home Lodge opening in September.

I got invited as this week to go see it. I can't wait. I will post pictures and videos when I go.

The doors are opening, and you're invited to come take a look!

After years of planning, partnership and community support, the newly completed Just Like Home Lodge and Health Professionals Housing facility in Campbell River is ready to welcome to the community for a series of drop in tours.

The Strathcona Regional District is inviting community members, partners, and organizations to tour the newly completed facility in Campbell River- and we are happy to share the initiation.

This is a wonderful opportunity to see the space, learn more about how both programs will operate, and celebrate an exciting milestone for healthcare in our region.

Upcoming drop-in tour times:

Wednesday, September 2, 9-11a.m. & 2-4p.m.
Tuesday, September 8, 1-4 p.m.
Wednesday, September 9, 1-4 p.m.
Thursday, September 10, 1-4 p.m.

The facility is located behind Yucalta Lodge and Q̓ʷalayu House with access through the Yucalta Lodge parking lot.

Just Like Home Lodge will begin welcoming patients and loved ones on September 15, while Health Professionals Housing will welcome its first residents beginning September 1.

TROUBLE has officially found its way to Port Hardy…

The Pink Aunties are coming. The Thunderbirds are coming. The whole Bear Grease crew is pulling up to The Civic Centre on Sunday, September 27!

And because one show apparently wasn’t enough trouble…

2 PM AND 7 PM.

💜 Honouring Kellie Dukes & Her Beautiful Art 💜

Many of you may have seen Kellie’s beautiful artwork displayed here at Northern Bliss Spa.

Following Kellie’s passing, I have a large collection of her original artwork that I would love to help find new homes for, while doing something meaningful for her family.

Kellie was a Reiki Master & Artist and the creator of Soulful Art. Her pieces were created with intention, blending creative expression with Reiki energy and layers of acrylic paint. Her goal was for her artwork to bring healing, serenity, love and positive energy into the spaces it entered. 💜

Over the coming days and weeks, I’ll be sharing Kellie’s artwork individually and auctioning each piece for 24 hours. There are many beautiful pieces, so you may see several auctions posted throughout the day, but each individual piece will have its own full 24-hour auction.

🎨 HOW THE AUCTIONS WILL WORK
• Each artwork post will include a starting bid and exact closing time.
• To bid, comment your amount on the original artwork post.
• Bids must increase by at least $5.
• The highest bidder at closing wins the piece.
• 100% of the proceeds will go directly to Kellie’s family. 🤍

⏰ 5-MINUTE BIDDING RULE:
If a bid is placed within the final 5 minutes, the auction will remain open for another 5 minutes. Every new bid resets the 5-minute clock. The auction officially ends once 5 full minutes have passed without another bid.
This gives everyone a fair opportunity to respond and means no one can swoop in during the final seconds.

If one of Kellie’s pieces speaks to you, please bid. And even if you aren't looking to purchase, sharing the auctions would mean so much. The more people who see them, the better chance we have of finding a special home for each piece while raising as much as possible for Kellie’s family.

Kellie put so much intention and heart into her artwork. I would love to see these pieces continue to bring joy, comfort and positive energy into people's homes for years to come. 💜
