A lot of businesses don't have a marketing problem, they have a direction problem.

They've got social media, Google Ads, email newsletters, blogs, print materials, SEO, videos..all the right tactics.

The question is: Are they all working together?

Marketing tactics are the tools, and strategy is the blueprint. Without a plan, it's easy to end up creating content because it's Tuesday, sending an email because it's been a while, or boosting a post because engagement feels low.

Those activities aren't wrong...but they shouldn't be random.

Every marketing tactic should have a purpose. It should support your goals, strengthen your brand, and make the next interaction with your business even more meaningful. The most successful marketing isn't built on doing "everything".

It's built on doing the right things, for the right reasons, in the right order. That's when tactics stop feeling like tasks... and start driving real results.

Firing off another Wicked Wednesday, and this week Chris is in the hot seat!

If you spend enough time designing in Figma, you've probably hit the same wall: "I wish I could put this into perspective without exporting it to another program."

Enter the 'Perspective Toolkit' plugin.

It lets you quickly apply perspective, isometric, and 3D transformations directly inside Figma, making it much easier to create mockups, presentations, and graphics without breaking your workflow. It's one of those small tools that ends up saving a surprising amount of time.

Chris' take? "Been a minute since I posted here, but this little tool is extremely useful for perspective elements within Figma."

Sometimes the best plugins aren't the flashiest, they're the ones that quietly remove a hundred little frustrations from your day.

Businesses will spend hundreds of hours perfecting their product, delivering exceptional service, or building something incredible.

Then they'll market it using three blurry photos someone took while walking to their truck. It's a surprisingly common strategy.

The reality is that professional photography and videography aren't just for pretty websites. They become some of the hardest working assets your business owns. Those photos show up on your website, social media, Google Business Profile, brochures, proposals, presentations, advertisements, email campaigns... and just about everywhere else your brand lives.

1-2 professional shoots (depending on your services) can produce content you'll use for months, or even years.

And here's the thing: people don't know how good your work is until they see it, your photos are often making the first impression before you ever get the chance to!

If your business has grown, your visuals should too.

(And yes, the picture from your company BBQ in 2018 has probably earned its retirement.)

Imagine someone hears about your business from a friend.
The first thing they do?
Google you.

Before you've answered the phone, replied to an email, or shaken their hand, they've already visited your website, looked through your photos, read your reviews, and formed an opinion. That's your brand at work.

Branding isn't your logo, it's every impression people build before they ever meet you.

The good news? Those impressions are something you can intentionally shape.

Today's WW tip comes again from Jocoelyn!! She's really on the ball this month.

Meet "BENI", an all terrain camera robot that's currently making waves online.

Instead of carrying your camera, this little robot follows you across trails, beaches, snow, gravel, and uneven terrain, capturing dynamic footage that would normally require another person behind the lens.

For content creators, filmmakers, and brands creating more outdoor content, it's a pretty exciting glimpse into where production tools are headed. Better footage, fewer people required, and more creative freedom.

Will every creator need one?
Probably not.

Do we all suddenly want one?..Absolutely.

Technology keeps finding new ways to remove creative barriers, and we're here for it.

One of the biggest misconceptions about having a website is that once it's launched, the work is done. In reality, your website should evolve alongside your business.

Think about the last time you searched for a restaurant, drove across town, and discovered it was closed because the hours on Google and the website hadn't been updated. Or maybe you've visited a business expecting one menu, one service, or one location, only to find everything had changed.

It's frustrating as a customer, and unfortunately, it happens more often than you'd think!

Your website is often the first place people go to verify information before they decide to visit, call, or make a purchase. If the information they find is outdated, it can quickly erode trust and even cost you business.

So, how often should you update your website? The answer depends on what has changed, but as a general rule:

* Update your website immediately when your hours, location, contact information, services, pricing, staff, or business details change.
* Add new projects, testimonials, photos, or case studies every few months to show that your business is active and growing.
* Review every page at least once or twice a year to make sure the content is still accurate, relevant, and reflects where your business is today.

Even if nothing major has changed, your website shouldn't sit untouched for years. Fresh content, updated imagery, new project work, blog articles, and regular maintenance not only improve the experience for your visitors, but they also signal to search engines that your website is active and worth showing in search results.

Your website isn't a brochure you print once and leave on a shelf, it's a living part of your business.

If it's been a while since you've looked through your own website, this is your sign to click around as if you were a first-time customer. You might be surprised by what you find, and if you spot something that needs updating, we'd be happy to help.

This week's Wicked Wednesday is straight from Chris.

NVIDIA recently announced RTX Spark, a new AI-powered computing platform that's shaping up to be Windows' answer to Apple's Silicon chips.

For anyone working in video editing, 3D rendering, AI workflows, or creative production, the performance numbers are... well, a little ridiculous. As software continues leaning harder into AI-assisted workflows, having hardware that can actually keep up is becoming just as important as the software itself.

Chris' take? "I'd love to get my hands on a device with RTX Spark for video editing in the future. The performance seems absolutely nutty."

If you're into creative tech, this one's worth keeping an eye on. Check it out here https://l1nq.com/fmdg97h

Social media is great for getting people's attention. But attention isn't the same as trust.

You don't own your followers, you don't control the algorithm, and your next customer probably isn't going to make a buying decision based on one Instagram post.

That's where your website comes in.

Think of social media as the conversation starter and your website as the place where people go to learn who you are, what you do, and why they should choose you. The strongest digital strategies don't rely on one or the other, they use both together.

If you've ever wondered whether posting consistently is enough to grow your business, our latest blog explores why social media should support your website, not replace it.

As your business grows, so do the conversations.

New leads. Existing clients. Follow up emails. Quotes. Phone calls. Project updates. Before long, it's easy for things to slip through the cracks if everything is being tracked with sticky notes, spreadsheets, or memory alone.

That's where a CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system can make all the difference. A good CRM keeps your contacts, communications, sales pipeline, and customer history organized in one place, helping you respond faster, follow up consistently, and deliver a better experience from the first inquiry to the final invoice.

The result? Less time searching for information, fewer missed opportunities, and more time focusing on growing your business.

Whether you're a team of one or managing multiple employees, implementing a CRM isn't just about staying organized: it's about building stronger customer relationships and creating systems that support long term success.

Thinking about adding a CRM to your business? We'd be happy to help you find the right solution and integrate it into your workflow.
