🎥 The Coastal Legacies Project is almost here—and we need your voice!

We're looking for people who live on the coast or have roots on the LNS to share a quick 1–2 minute video about what makes this place so special.

The Coastal Legacies Project is about creating tourism that connects people. When visitors learn the stories, history, and culture of the places they explore, they become more engaged, more respectful, and leave with a deeper appreciation of the communities they visit.

Want to help tell that story? We'd love to hear from you. Every voice helps preserve and celebrate the LNS coastal legacy. 🌊💙

🏠 Once you're from the Lower North Shore...it's always home.

Whether you still live on the Lower North Shore of Quebec or have moved away, we'd love to hear your story.

We're looking for people to record a simple, authentic 1–2 minute video sharing:
💙 Where you're from
💙 What makes your community special
💙 What you think every visitor should know

No professional equipment.
No script.
No editing.

Just your story, in your own words.

Whether you're standing on the wharf, walking your favourite beach, or sitting at your kitchen table, your voice can help visitors discover the Lower North Shore through the people who know it best.

📩 Interested? Send us a message.

And please share this post—someone you know has a story worth telling.

The Port of Saguenay is spectacular! We had an opportunity to attend the Cruise Canada New English Symposium and learn about some of the challenges facing the industry and the various ways they are working hard to meet environmental concerns. You can certainly understand why this port is so popular.... stunning. Oh and the lunch..... local producers served up a feast...AMAZING.

It is officially launched and ready for the public to explore. This past year we have been working with the MRC des Laurentides and Indigenous partners to co create different points of interest. What an amazing group of people that came together yesterday to celebrate and launch this project, Rooted in the Land.
