CLPE Recertification Goes Digital: Q& A Session

We had a question about using CSIpix to complete the CLPE Recertification Comparison Test. Since the testing changed to a digital format just recently, I will focus on this topic to start the Q&A session, then take additional questions afterwards.
As noted on the Latent Print Recertification page of the IAI website:
“As of 01/01/2026, all recertification testing in the United States and Canada will be digital.”
I will provide an overview of the CLPE Recertification Comparison Test process and completing it using the CSIpix Comparator Pro software.

Rhys Williams, assistant professor of forensic science, provided critical forensic analysis in a case involving the fraudulent cremation and disposal of pets at an unlicensed pet crematorium in Baltimore County, leading to a 20-year sentence for the main perpetrator.
