February is Violence Prevention Month in our province. Each year, we invite local businesses, government agencies, and organizations to join us in building safe, healthy, and caring communities. The Bay St. George Coalition to End Violence is excited to invite you to participate in our Community Challenge.
To raise awareness, we are asking management and staff to wear pink on Stand-Up Day, Wednesday, February 25th, 2026.
Get Your Gear: If you would like official “Stand-Up” style pink t-shirts to promote the day, they are available for order at Stephenville Embroidery on Main St. Please act quickly—the order deadline is February 6, 2026.
How Your Business Can Show Support:
• Display the message “February is Violence Prevention Month” on your signage, windows, or throughout your office during the month of February.
• Showcase pink in your window displays, and include posters or violence prevention materials in your storefront.
• Post photos of your team wearing pink on Stand Up Day- February 25th to our page () using .
• Change your business social media profile picture to pink for the week using .
• Encourage staff to join our social media PINK Challenges: and .
