【It's Official!】Rogers has officially announced the availability of 5G service in selected areas of the Toronto subway(TTC)!👍 ✨

Starting today, passengers on the Toronto subway can now use 5G service in designated tunnels and stations, enabling features such as calling, texting, and internet browsing.😍

The initial phase of the 5G service rollout covers areas including all stations on the downtown U-shaped stretch of Line 1 Yonge-University-Spadina, as well as 13 stations on Line 2 Bloor-Danforth from Keele station to Castle Frank station, along with the tunnels between St. George station and Yonge station.🤳

The 5G network also allows all passengers to use 911 service in the covered areas, regardless of their mobile service provider.

Since took over , both the external and internal policies have been met with dissatisfaction from many longtime users. Even Elon Musk's announcement of stepping down as CEO couldn't salvage the public sentiment. Recently, Twitter introduced a new practice of charging for enhanced reach, which created an opportunity for META. They seized the moment and officially launched Threads, the "text-based Instagram."📝

Threads focuses on text-based social interactions, with a limit of 500 characters per post. Users can also share up to 10 images and videos up to 5 minutes long. It includes basic features like liking, replying, and reposting, but it currently lacks the option for temporary stories.🎞️

The EU has mandated that smartphones sold in the EU must use replaceable portable batteries. Furthermore, the regulations specify design, production, and recycling requirements for all rechargeable batteries. Currently, most manufacturers require that the batteries of phones and tablets can only be replaced by professionals. The new EU regulations will require that batteries in portable devices such as smartphones, tablets, and cameras sold in the EU must be easily removable and replaceable by consumers.👍

The new regulations were passed with 587 votes in favor, 9 votes against, and 20 abstentions. They are awaiting approval from the European Council and are expected to be officially announced. The regulations are set to take effect in 2027. This decision is expected to have a significant impact on the global mobile phone market!😎 🥳

The artist behind the work, Boris Eldagsen, entered the competition to stimulate discussion about the differences between photography and AI-generated images. The work, titled "PSEUDOMNESIA: Fake Memories," was generated by Eldagsen using an AI system that he guided using his experience as a photographer.
