It feels like yesterday, but A***n and I were only 33 and 27 in this photo. We met at a Sage Accpac conference just 6 months prior, both eager young consultants ready to take on any challenge that came across our desk!

Little did we know how unique our experience would be. We have the gift of four lovely boys. We have grown our business together. Have suffered together. It was novel, working together, but there came a time when we realized we needed to grow up. The real wake-up call came when boys 3 and 4 came along - we were in our 40's and 50's and were again new parents! How were we going to make our business sustain our family for the next 20 years, while at the same time fulfilling our own internal need to give back to the community?

Welome to Cantatus 2.0. We now focus primarily on partnering with not-for-profit organizations. By giving of ourselves and bringing our over 40 years of combined experience to mission-driven organizations, we are doing what we love with who we love. We do this by helping increase visibility and accountability, implement budget controls and improve data capture efficiency on the organization's financial aspects. Simultaneously, we secure the organization's IT infrastructure, protect against cyber-attacks, and reduce the overhead costs of maintaining expensive and redundant equipment.

When we do our job well, we free up valuable financial and human resources that can be invested back into the organization, enabling it to further its mission. We consider it a privilege to work alongside organizations like UNITI - Semiahmoo House Society in the community living sector or Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon, caring for sick children and their families. It just feels right.
