This is what community looks like.
Yesterday, the Turnkey team and our families packed the patio for the Thunder Bay Border Cats' Canada Day game, and the energy was absolutely incredible!

As a company, our people are our foundation. Taking the day to celebrate our team's hard work with their families, right here in the community we love, was the perfect way to spend the holiday.

From Urban Hip opening the gates and getting the crowd hyped, to a sea of Turnkey red shirts in the stands, it was a day to remember.

A few major shoutouts from the day:
• The Special Olympics: It was an honor to get behind the jersey auction and support such a great local organization.
• The Minibike Showdown: Louis and Rylan took to the field for a friendly (but very competitive) minibike race. Bragging rights have officially been claimed. 🏍️
• Our Big Winner: Congratulations to Sowmyasri on winning the Turnkey Get Lucky Draw!

Watching a packed stadium rally behind a team that never gives up reminded us of exactly what we love about this city. Thunder Bay shows up, puts in the effort, and doesn't back down.

Thank you to the Border Cats organization and to our incredible Turnkey families for making this Canada Day a home run.

There is a reason the world looks to Canada when it comes to resilience. We are built for hard environments.

At Turnkey Communications, "True North strong and free" isn't just a lyric—it is the reality of where we operate every single day. We have the most unforgiving, rugged, and beautiful geography on the planet, and it takes true Canadian grit to build infrastructure that can conquer it.

We are incredibly proud to be a company powering the heavy industries that drive this nation's economy forward. Whether we are deploying mission-critical Private LTE deep inside the Canadian Shield, supporting our national defence sector, or partnering with First Nations to bridge the digital divide, we build networks with the exact same resilience that defines this country.

We are proudly North Ontario-strong, and we are honoured to stand shoulder to shoulder with the operators, integrators, and partners building the future of Canada.

Happy Canada Day!

Most business connections happen in boardrooms. Some happen on the golf course. Yesterday, we took ours to Hole #17.

Turnkey Communications joined LinkWell's first social golf tournament in Thunder Bay, alongside 30+ incredible businesses spanning mining, transport, healthcare, real estate, printing, and more.

It was the perfect opportunity to connect with the local business community and showcase the Turnkey Mobile Lab and KYRO trailer. KYRO definitely pulled its share of curious questions from players who had never seen private cellular technology deployed quite like this right on the course.

To keep things interesting at our hole, we ran a co****le contest for a gift card plus Turnkey goodies.

A massive congratulations to our ultimate co****le winner, Doug Carlson! Turns out "Co****le" was his actual nickname back in school, and he made sure absolutely everyone on the green knew why.

Thank you to the LinkWell Insurance Group for organizing a phenomenal event that brought the Thunder Bay business community together. It was a pleasure catching up with established partners and building new connections within the Thunder Bay business community.

What a day at Marina Park.

Thunder Bay Mining Day brought together 60+ exhibitors, 2,500+ attendees, and a community that shows up for this industry. The Turnkey Mobile Lab was right in the middle of it.

One screen, every angle of the park, monitored in real time — that's what pulled people in first. From there, people explored our fibre solutions and KYRO, our private cellular technology, to understand what keeps a mine connected, even underground.

Kids coloured mining drawings and picked out stickers while parents watched from the back, listening to their kids ask big questions. Teenagers and young adults talked careers with our President & CEO, Terry Joseph, who walked them through where to start — a trade course and an apprenticeship.

Congratulations to Amelia, our gift card draw winner! We'll be in touch to arrange your prize.

Thank you to the Northwestern Ontario Prospectors Association for creating a platform that brings this community together. Special thanks to Women in Mining Northwestern Ontario for keeping us warm on a windy day with the BBQ and hot chocolate.

Mining is one of the most demanding industries in the world. The people who show up — underground, in remote operations, in leadership — shape the global mining landscape.

On International Day of Women in Mining, we celebrate the women doing exactly that. Shaping safer operations, stronger decisions, and a more progressive industry every single day.

To the women on our team and across this industry — we honour your resilience, your expertise, and the leadership that moves forward.

Happy International Day of Women in Mining.

Most people never see what keeps a mine connected and safe. The infrastructure lives underground, out of sight, built into the walls of operations that don't stop.

On June 13, we're changing that.

Turnkey Communications is bringing the digital brain of a mine to Thunder Bay Mining Day at Marina Park. Step into the Turnkey Mobile Lab for live demonstrations with real equipment and hands-on activities, for kids to experience the technology behind a connected mine up close.

See you Saturday.

Join us at Thunder Bay Mining Day on June 13.

Hosted by the Northwestern Ontario Prospectors Association, Mining Day brings together the mining industry, families, and young people to experience firsthand what mining means to this region — the jobs it creates, the economy it sustains, and the future it builds for Canada and the world.

Visit the Turnkey Communications booth to gain insights into how we keep mining operations safe and connected — above and below ground.

See you at Marina Park.

Infrastructure decisions made today will still be in place 10, 20, or 30 years from now.

On World Environment Day, that's a reality worth pausing on.

At Turnkey Communications, sustainability isn't a feature we patch on at the end of a project. It is an intentional consideration built into how we design, deploy, and support infrastructure from day one—because the rugged environments we operate in demand it.

Building networks that stand the test of time means fewer truck rolls, less equipment replacement, and infrastructure that maximizes efficiency for decades.

Long-term thinking isn't just good engineering. It’s the only responsible way to build tomorrow's .

The low-voltage industry is evolving — and Turnkey Communications was part of shaping that conversation.

This week in Toronto, Paul Howarth took the stage at the ECAO Low Voltage & Systems Integration Symposium to speak on the future of private wireless networks. Terry Joseph facilitated two of the important industry discussions on where systems integration is heading and what it takes to build it right.

Proud of our team leading the conversations that drive reliable infrastructure forward.

Thank you to ECAO and all the leaders who joined Terry on stage.

Technology is great, but getting our crews home safe is what actually matters.

This week, the Turnkey Communications team has been underground in for Mining Transformed, showcasing our Mobile Lab and network infrastructure. But whenever we are testing new tech, our minds are always on the communities that actually rely on it—especially our friends and partners back in Thunder Bay.

We don't build underground networks just to move data. We build them so that when someone goes deep underground for their shift, they stay visible, they stay connected, and their families know they are operating on the safest, most reliable backbone possible.

Thank you to every operator and miner across Northern Ontario who keep this industry moving. We are proud to build the lifelines that keep you connected.
